Hello.

I bought a new PC more or less.

Bought following:

(MSI) X99 Raider

Intel i-7 5820k

HyperX Fury 2666 mHz ram 4gb x4 ( 16gb total )

Corsair h100i

Now i used my old GPU: (MSI) Nvidia GTX 970

and my Samsung SSD Evo 250gb.

My problem is following:

After a huge struggle i finally got it to boot and work, after installing drivers etc it had issues with booting, sometimes it just couldn't, and sometimes it could. Yesterday, i started it up without problem, then i shut it down, after i came back i couldn't get it to boot, and prety much since that, it haven't been able to boot or anything at all. I REALLY need your help guys.

Any ideas?

Yesterday i got ALL the way into windows etc, everything worked fine and after i came back yesterday, i couldn't do anything. And no, i didn't get any error messages.

What he's asking is if it POSTs. If it POSTs but doesn't enter Windows, it's probably the OS- but if it doesn't POST, it's probably the hardware.

You didn't say what power supply you used.

It kind of sounds like a power supply that can't properly power the PC.

What kind of power supply are you using?

(Not just how many watts, the model and name please. Lots of PSU's claim they are 700 watts but can only deliver 200)

Powersuply is Energon 750 watt.

That PSU is trash.

Wouldn't even get my PC anywhere within a 50 metres range of this PSU.

Like i contacted the reseller, and i sent my motherboard back in, prety sure that's where the issue is. ( I tested everything on another rig ) ram etc

Good job sending parts back before anyone helped you identifying which part could be the issue.

I'd highly recommend getting a new PSU.

I could make some recommendations, but there are enough other members who know what good PSU's are.

Thought about buying the

-EVGA Supernova G2 750W-

is that good?

I have that PSU now. It's so much better than the CX-430 I was running (which might as well have been that crap PSU got for all the quality it had). It's fully-modular so you only need to manage the cables that help you. On top of that, as mentioned by @Runefox, Jonnyguru's OklahomaWolf gave the 650W a nearly perfect score.

Also, it looks really good.

Spoiler

CPU: AMD 5800X

GPU: Gigabyte Aorus 3070 Ti

SSD: WD SN850X 4TB x2

MoBo: Gigabyte Aorus Master B550

Case: Fractal Torrent

PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 750W
