Nexus 7 vs. Windows 8 Tablet

I'm looking at which of the two tablets would be better for lite gaming, some school work, browsing web, and watching videos?

Corsair 350d, Asus Gryphon Z87, Intel i5 4670k 4.5 GHz, Corsair H100i, Corsair Vengence 16gb 1600 MHz,


AMD Radeon 260x, Corsair CX600, OCZ Vetex 450 128gb, Seagate 2 TB

With the Nexus 7, you get more bang for your buck.

Light gaming as in mobile games or light gaming as in legit pc games? And are you considering the surface pro tablet?

What do you mean by schoolwork?

 

Get a keyboard for either of those if you plan to type more than 200 words a day.

Then a Nexus 7 is your best bet.

If you are going to be getting a hybrid tablet with full Windows 8 then go for that.

If you are looking at Windows RT Tablets, skip them and get a Nexus 7. The play store is a much more mature app market than the windows market and on tablets, the app store is essential.
