BlueStacks 360 Controller Support Issue!

When you have BlueStacks loaded up, and then turn on or plug in your 360 controller, a window pops up showing a 360 controller and says that you can use it with some games that have controller support!
But here is the problem I am having. It wont work on any games that have controller support, the pop up window keeps popping up then disappearing very rapidly as if it is having trouble keeping a connection to the controller! I have no problems whatsoever using the controller on my PC or with other games outside of BlueStacks!

I have been trying to find a solution to this problem for MONTHS with no luck!
Any help or information regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
