hi guys,
I got this motherboard/Processor/RAM, ASUS P5G41T-M LX3/Intel Core2Duo E8400 3.0Ghz-6Mb/kingston 2GB DDR3 1333Mhz
I am planning to buy ASUS GTX650-E-1GD5
do you guys see some performance issue/bottlenecking on my setup??? specially on the GPU which is PCIe Gen3, while my motherboard's PCIe slot is, well i'm not sure if it is Gen1 or Gen2 but i believe it is more likely Gen1 since G41 chipset supports PCIe Gen1

please leave a post, i really need help from the expert.... :)

Its not that bad, I'd recommend getting 4gb of ram minimum and a Core 2 Quad instead.

EDIT: Also in regards to your questions about bottlenecking. The PCIe Gen 2 will not cause a bottleneck (modern GPUs still do not take full advantage of PCI Gen 2 bandwidth. The bottlenecking would come from the CPU being too slow.

and im not sure, does my PCIe slot a Gen2???? its not mentioned on the manual.... i just refer to the intel site about G41 chipsets....

does my CPU has enough processing power to handle the GPU i am about to buy??? :)
