i have a r9 290 video card... when i use the onboard display in the motherboard it works fine... it goes through the motherboard logo, bios, windows 7 logo, then the blue welcoming screen... but when i try to plug the video card, it starts at the windows 7 logo first does not even load the motherboard logo...then my monitor shuts down and says no connection... i cant enter the blue welcoming screen even tried safe mode..pls help me

thank you so much sir... 1 thing i have noticed is that my video card  has a small complication... is that i need to disable the onboard display in order to have display...not like before i only use my video card displayafter my reformat... thnx sir sorry for the bad english

Did you previously have igpu multi monitor enabled in bios?
