No aida64 does not do the same nonsense that prime95 does. Its a much safer way of stressing a cpu.

I heard that the latest versions of Prime95 can damage the hardware because it causes voltage spikes, what is an alternative that will stress the CPU to 100% without damaging it?

BTW, is FurMark safe to use?

That's paid, is there anything free that will not be too different?

I had the free version of AIDA64. Or at least it has a trial version that i have installed. 30 days i believe. That was plenty of time for me to OC my CPU.

100% usage w/o damaging it?

Its not that prime95 uses your cpu too much that damages it, its that prime95 over-volts the cpu to achieve its results.

AIDA64 is an excellent option, and the trial is long enough to get a a good number of benchmarks out of the way.

kombuster has a cpu stesser im pretty sure, havn't checked it in a long time though

And yes furmark is completely fine, it won't damage anything so long as you don't let your components overheat by stopping all your fans, plugging up every hole in your case with nacho-cheese, and then wrapping your computer in an electric blanket to stop its feetsies from getting cold.
