AMD apu and Nvidia GPU issue

Hello, today i tryed to install an nvidia gpu to my system and iam using amd apu, i disabled in devices video amd apu and plugged in graphics card and then i connected to monitor but the issue is there is no imput, i cant see anything on my monitor, but when i put it in mobo port it works. Please help.

What gpu is it and what psu do you have. Maybe you don't have enough wattage to run the card.

you need to go in BIOS and set Init graphics on PEG 1st

 

does the nVidia card even shows up in Device Manager?
