ITX is generally used for HTPC which uses integrated graphics. AM3+ doesn't have integrated graphics. Same reason there are no mini itx 2011's.

The X79 Shuttle is close to mini ITX, but no banana.

There's also the physical size of the socket to consider. You really would struggle to fit a socket that large plus everything else into the m-ITX formfactor. You'd be looking at daughterboards etc. which are expensive, and like it or not AMD is a more budget-oriented option.

Regarding 2011, you also have to remember that the main benefits of the X79 platform (aside more powerful CPUs) are having 8 DIMMs (good luck getting them onto m-ITX) and m0ar PCIe lanes (which again, there is no space for). There are no AM3+/2011 m-ITX boards because it wouldn't be possible to market one at a reasonable price point with reasonable features.

I would actually disagree. HTPCs are a major use for ITX, but the lack of integrated graphics doesn't really have anything to do with there not being any m-ITX boards for AM3+/2011. I mean most m-ITX boards you see now even have PCIe so it's not out of the question (heck, it's downright expected when the board comes with integrated wifi etc) to put a dedicated GPU in there.
