4690k vs 4770

i came across a fairly good price for both of them, almost the same price

which would be better? i only game

4770 is 40€ more expensive

 

note that i have B85 motherboard, so i can't overclock the i5 (at least not for now)

check this out. I would say 4690k personally, so if you ever get like Z97 you could overclock that thing really nice, but the 8 thread hyper thread on the i7 is nice, so it really is your preference.

If I could go back in time and redo my build again. I'd take the 4770/k instead of my 4670k.

IMO you shouldn't even spend your money on that upgrade. It is NOT even a slight upgrade from the i5 you own. 

 

I dont see a SSD in your description, use the money for that instead

i have one  128GB

i also have a 1TB HDD for storage

on SSD i only have Windows(Mr.Obvious), programs, and the games i currently play (usually just 1 or 2 at the time)

Then I would suggest that you save the money to buy an upgrade in the future
