I am looking for help in deciding my part purchase and the best way to optimize a sub $1000 budget for a gaming computer. Grab a better PSU. A 600-650W SeaSonic or XFX one would be enough. But if you can, try to aim for the EVGA 650W G2.

The way to think about it is that no one will know your situation better than you. We can make suggestions for different parts but from what I've seen all of those parts will work. A different PSU would be a good idea but as for the cpu it's fine.

Depends on your use case... Do you need a certain amount of storage or can you add it later if needed?? will 256GB be enough for you?
