*I am creating a new post in "Troubleshooting" for this*

I am putting together a system (mainly out of leftover components that were in my basement) for a friend's first gaming rig. I picked up a PowerColor 6950 2GB  from a friend for $30 for the build. I originally tested it on an ivy bridge test bench (i7-3770/Gigabyte motherboard) and couldn't get it to recognize the GPU. It would just keep using integrated graphics. Tried it in my 4690k server and same story. Both of these had an adapter from two molex connectors for one of the power connections though. I tested it in my 5930k rig that has dual 6 pin off the psu and it worked fine. I tried it in my FX-8350 system that also has dual 6 pin and it worked fine. So I thought it just needed true dual 6 pin. I get a thermaltake 600w for this system, hook it all up and I am back to square one.

I have tried every combination of disable/auto/etc in bios for integrated graphics and ultimately the only thing I ever get any graphics out of is the integrated. Does not show up in windows, cannot load driver for 6950 in windows.

I don't know the history of this card so I don't know if it could be the problem but since it works on two different systems just fine I assume its not the GPU itself.

(Oh, and I have tried different GPUs on all of these boards that would't run the 6950 and they all work fine)
