Need help with Blacklist!

Hello, so one of my friends recently bought Splinter cell blacklist (we both have it on uplay) and when we tried to play Co-op with eachother it didn't work.. We only get this message: "Failed to connect, please try again later"  We also tried to play SvM and got the same message when I tried to join him. Would appreciate help.

Have you tried www.portforward.com for opening your ports? If not, then that is what I'd recommend.
