Ok so I found a USB from a little while ago, I saw that it had some pretty important files on it. So I go to copy them to my pc. But it crashed File Explorer. It sometimes crashes it even trying to load the USB. I tried it on 2 windows laptops and it didn't even show up on 2 MacBooks. I once got it to start copying but it would only move something like 13kb every hour, and even then, it didn't move the files correctly and it eventually timed out. Is there anyway that I could be able to get the files off the USB. I wouldn't bother asking if they weren't important. I never got around to trying it on my main rig, but the other computer weren't by any means "incapable". I also have a NAS if that could be of any use!

Thanks

A nifty free little piece of software called Recuva can recover corrupt files and even deleted files. Also Windows can rebuild the usb stick. Windows can scan and automatically fix file system problems as well. Google searches of any of the above options will get you started. Good luck!
