I was looking at Samsung 950 pro NVMe SSDs and was thinking about picking up a pair of the 512 GB models for a future build. I currently have an MSI Z97S SLI Krait edition and an i7 4790k in it and don't feel like upgrading to Skylake or X99 just so I can get two m.2 slots that support PCIe based SSDs. I don't plan on doing SLI anytime soon, so I figured I could use the remaining PCIe x16 slot for something else. My question is, is there an m.2 to PCIe bracket that supports up to two NVMe drives that allows each drive to take up its own PCIe bandwidth. I've seen one bracket that supports two drives, but only one of them uses PCIe lanes, while the other simply uses Sata
