I have been encountering a couple issues with my WD black 2TB drive. Sometimes the BIOS sees it and sometimes not. I also see some computer lag after it sleeps but I don't think that has anything to do with this drive because I have the OS on a pcie SSD. I got the drive in December 2015 so I don't think it's dying. The SATA connections have been changed and still nothing. What is it?

Also me and a friend had a debate, it you touch the gold connections on a CPU with your bare hand is it ruined?

Any answer would be great. Thanks!

Watch out behind you!

Touching the gold connections on a CPU isn't recommended but certainly won't automatically ruin them.

I remember reading about a similar issue on the forum a while ago, in the end the issue was a bad SATA cable, maybe try changing the cable.

I already tried this and I also tried changing the port on the motherboard
