It will mostly be just gaming.

What are you planning to do with it? If mild gaming then sure, that's more than enough in my opinion.

It would work for medium gaming but spending a little more on the CPU and/or getting an R9 380 will be huge in the long run (and short :D)

The CPU will probably be the first thing to upgrade.  That or an after market CPU cooler.

No point buying something just to upgrade it shortly after.

Yes but if I go with something more expensive then I will probably wait longer to buy it

You are better off waiting the extra time then buying a crappy CPU then buying another better one. If you urgently need the PC right now for some life threatening gaming need go for it.

Why would you need to upgrade your CPU. If you're just going to be doing mild gaming then it's fine. You don't need to buy something better unless you're just doing it for the poser status like some people.

True, I wasn't planning on making this something that happened in the first year of getting it.

There are potatoes on sale at my local super market I could use one of those instead.

Feel free to change whatever parts you want in the build I provided, it's still yours
