Missing Data - Seen but not recognised?

Hi All,

 

I have just put a new SSHD in my wife's Laptop - and after reinstalling Windows 10, ive attempted to load the 82-odd-gig of data (that we copied from her old HD) off my PC back onto her Laptop.

 

I've done this by way of taking the SSHD out of the laptop and installing it into my pc where my media 4TB media drive usually sits. I really have no understanding when it comes to networking / Homegroups etc even though that was the first way i tried to copy the data over. I figured the quickest way would be to swap the drive into my PC and copy the data over. 

 

The data has transferred to the SSHD no worries (as far as I can tell), however when I re-install the SSHD back into the laptop, the folders are not shown.

Windows explorer does show an increase in the amount of data the SSHD is holding ( ie the "xxxGB free of xxxGB" ) however it does not show up where I copied them to. 

 

Any assistance with this would be awesome,
