Hey guys!

My Corsair M90 is slowly dying and i've been looking for a new mouse for quite a while. I went to the store (many actually) but they wont let me try ANY mouse before i buy it. So i had to dig on the internet...

I love(d) my M90.. the spot on the side with the buttons is nice, so i can lift it easily with my thumb.. but i figured out that i dont need so many buttons (i mostly only use the one for inventory xd)..

Anyway i have found a few mice i kinda like, but everyone of them had a flaw or i was unsure about something, do you guys have any reccomendations? I dont have a budget limit...

The ones i found were:

  • Rival 300 - non-braded cable, and it seems not so fingertip grip friendly
  • Sensei (raw) - seems an awesome mice, but idk how it would fit in my hand (i can not try it out anywhere :'(   )
  • Corsair Scimitar - almost identical to mine, but they have made the side buttons naga-like, which i dislike.. + its overpriced here in EU (like 135$)
  • Razer Orichi - looks really small x:
  • another M90 (95)..

I have tried the Naga, Thermaltake Volos, Imperator, Gigabyte M8000x, Razer Copperhead, but they were uncomfortable after a while.

Thanks guys in advance! :D

When you say fingertip mouse, are you implying that you use a claw style grip?

Thanks for the suggestions guys!!

I have checked out the Mionix mice, and the Mionix Castor looks promising, I am checking the reviews right now. It is a bit smaller and taller than the Avior 7000, and i think i would like it more.

The G303 looks good aswell, I think they actually have them in the stores here, but they are not opening the boxes for trying the mouse in-hand (i will try to convince them though!)..

I think that the Castor seems more of a safe bet (the shape is more classic), since the back part of the G303 looks like it is not really comfortable x: .

I will have to do more research though, both look better than most of the ones I have found xD

Zowie looks awesome aswell!

I've done my research (whole day yesterday and today), went to the store to try the G303, and I think that the best fit for my hand would be the Mionix Castor, so i ordered it today. Thankfully its not overpriced since i could get it direct from the Mionix website and got additional 10% off.. so in the end it was a pretty nice deal. :D

I will post my opinnion about it when i recieve it.

Thanks again guys!

I just recieved the Mionix Castor mouse today :D, here are my first impressions:

I must say i am inpressed with how it fits in my hand. Its almost perfect, the only bad thing is on the right side of the mouse, there is a slight bump to keep your fingers in place.. so when i hold the mousei have to adjust the position of my pinky and ringfinger.. but i think i just have to get used to the new shape and then it will be perfectly fine. (this is for finger tip grip, other grips i think would have no issues with this)

The software is ok.. nothing special really.. just ok.

And the sensor/tracking is really good! It "feels" like i am a lot more precise.

That should be it c:
