That's pretty high if that's your 24/7 overclock.  If you have an AIO, don't go over 1.4V.  If you have an air cooler, I wouldn't advise anything over 1.35V.

1.4v and all the way up to even 1.5v is fine for bulldozer, personally I would keep it below 1.45v but it depends on the motherboard and cooling. If your temperatures look good just keep cranking the voltage and multiplayer until your happy with the overclock :)

Dang you have a pretty good chip, at least compared to mine. My FX 6300 is running at 4.4 GHz with 1.45v., and it's fine for me.

I have 4.5Ghz @ 1.36v but anything higher even by 100mhz requires 1.4v or more so idk what I should consider mine :L

Consider it better than mine lol!

I guess it is decent for that speed but sucks it can't really go higher

Did you also applied FSB/HT Link overclocking ? Unlike with intel's bclk it works pretty well to get a bit extra out of the AMD CPUs (its thanks to it i was able to get my FX 4300 to 4.6 Ghz), personally since i used lower ended boards i never really went pass 225 but it always helped me squeze a bit more out of my CPU.

PS: increasing the memory controller voltage also can help you squeze a bit more when overclocking, just don't go above 1.25v with the MC.

Thanks for the tip! Just experimenting, started to overclock a week ago still learning :), for some reason msi afterburner is doing nothing to my graphics card. :| oh well guess that's for another forum/topic

If you get a failed OC - MSI afternburner locks your stock frequencies in as a sort of safety precaution. Even if you raise the clocks it will not effectively change the clocks.

I forget how to change that, however.

That is perfectly fine voltage and having a AIO cooler does nothing to determine what voltage you can run and there is no such thing as a air cooler, a AIO cooler cools by using air to move air over the fins and a HSF uses air to cool the heatsink. 1.4V is perfectly safe, even 1.5V is provided your cooler and motherboard are up to par.
