Engineering Samples?

So I've found a ton of well priced Xeon processors on eBay but I am starting to see that many of them are engineering samples.  What are the pro's/con's of these?

Also you don't own it, there is no guarantee it will work and if you try to resell it Intel may come down on you.

I plan on buying cheap so I can get rid of it when I am done.  Technically I am buying for testing lol.
