Get over it.

Brand loyalty gets you nowhere. (at most a free sticker)

Not that I'm be "loyal" to nvidia but I got a MSI r9 390x and it was terribly made (it wasn't defective) so right now I decided to come from a 750ti and try AMD and it got me a leaf blower inside my case so I not very keen on AMD cards right now..

You do realize that you are buying a card with a nearly identical cooler right? (Only place build quality changes)

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Exept it's a lot harder to disapate 135 more watts of heat

Which is why and GPUs are built to withstand higher temps..

But what does have to do with build quality?

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

A direct rebrand of the Hawaii gpu which to begin with is very hot

It has been refreshed with more advanced silicon which lowers temps and allows flr high clocks. Like 4770k vs 4790k. Why build a new GPU when the one you have is very competitive? And again what does that have to do with build quality?

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

It didn't improve heat by anything haha.. I don't know why people don't admit it's a 290x gpu squeezed to death with higher core clock speed right to the edge. The cooler which is on it therefor inacting as build quality.

The 290x could not achieve the same core or memory clocks.

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

A R9 fury will rek it for the same price but not a 390

maybe he meant a 390x which would make sense

The 980 and the R9 Fury are sorta in the same tier when you overclock the 980, so I wouldnt really say "rekt" it. Tell me if you need benchmarks/test, ill gladly provide :D!

Overclocking is not guaranteed.

The R9 fury can be overclocked (though on average not as much)

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

It is not guaranteed yes, but most of the 980 benchmarks are reference 980s going up to 1212~1250mhz core, when you can easily get 1400~1500 on pretty much all the 980s.

Not really no. http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-2981-KR. Look at the non SE 980s

So you get an extra 60mhz than the spec sheet with watercooling?
