I have a USB 3.0 raid drive currently just hooked directly to my Windows 10 Desktop. I was going to set it up as a shared drive from Windows, but then I remembered my Asus RT-AC66U has USB Ports. I don't think they are USB 3.0 ports though. Would it be more beneficial to share from the Windows Desktop or the router? I like the idea of the router cause the desktop goes to sleep after a while, but will speeds suck with USB 2?
