First PC Build

The Bar

I am building a new PC and need help in seeing if this setup will work, what I need to change, etc. What would be the best optical drive for gaming and wireless adapter.  My budget is under $3000 with everything (monitor, keyboard, mice). Thanks in advance.

Since you're still under you budget, you could change the CPU to the new I7-6700K with hyper threading.

Better SSD, dont SLI GTX 980s. Oh, and this has a ultrawide monitor. 'cause ultrawide monitors are cool. It's also a smidge underbudget

You could have gone for one 980 ti and an i7 6700k but what you have is alright.

Would the Western Digital Blues be a good hard drive?  I've thought about the i7-6700K and decided to go with the i5 instead and I do have a case.

So far build looks okay but have you tried using ultrawide monitors before? I think having two 980ti on a 24" is a waste, either go higher screen size or go wider 1080p or even get 1440hz since its 980ti-SLI.

here. try this out. i choose the gaming m5 instead of m7 because there is not much difference in the board, so u can save some money and get the m5 instead. also, the m5 has promotion right now. free rainbow six siege.

i picked a g-sync monitor. so it will be a little bit out of your price range. also corsair keyboard and logitech mouse. best peripherals ever. u can thank me later.
