Cpu voltage

does anyone know why in cpu-z it says my core voltage is is 1.390v-1.400v in load but in the bios it says its 1.290v i set it back to stock but the cpu but still the same its my first time overclocking so maybe this is normal idk

Hmmm I'm not sure then. There is usually a little bit of variance but it cant account for that much. 1.4 is huge. how are you temps?

well in stock 50-60c when my old oc 4.7ghz around 74c max

74 at 4.7 isn't awful. that's on load right? It is possible the software is not detecting the voltage properly. maybe try a reinstall of it?

well i didn't reinstall it yet but i wil try that

Well check with HWMonitor http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

 

This seems to work way better than what CPU-z shows me.
