Hello,

I have have lite of an dilemma here. I've modded my PC in a blue theme. I have a custom painted 780T and the components and the waterfluid is blue. The thing is that I ordered fittings from EK, the order is now 3 weeks late and they have reduced the price with 100% so now I have some spare money to spend on the PC.

Here is where the dilemma occurres, what should I spend the money on. There are a couple of choices I've scaled it down to, CableMod for the whole PC (now I have the standard black cables for EVGA Supernova), LED-lights for the computer or 3 Corsair AF120 fans (now I have the standard fans, 2x120 with white LEDs and 1x120 gray).

So I figured the best way to get to a solution is to ask my fellow modders at LinusTechTips-forum. So what do you think? Maybe you have some other ideas.

Budget: ~65€

I think the CableMod cables are the way to go. they really add and extra flare of detail to a case that i see them in. I would like to do them in my case when i get the chance.

My other suggestion would be some nice LED lighting. I just got the Hue+ that i plan to put in my case when i get my USB Header extender for NZXT. I think that will add some color and style to your case as well.

You make a good point there. The cables really makes the build look very good. Although I would be stoked just by seeing your components! Anyways, the gray fan is really bothering me so it's hard to choose.

Be careful with those LED fans. I put them in my build and ended up cutting the wires on a couple of the LED's because they create a horrible glare out the side of the fans that was reflecting off the edge of my case window even though they are out of view of the window itself. You're better off with LED strips than LED fans I think.

Yeah if its bothering you then go for that. Honestly there were things in my case that legit bothered me and i know that feeling. You will feel SO MUCH BETTER about your build knowing that one thing is gone. If it bothers you that bad, go for it. Or put it somewhere you cant see it, if there is a place like that in your system.

I'm thinking that I might but the cables and then save some money and just replace that one fan. I can live with it for some time and I think the cables will make it look really really good. Now the biggest thing that's bothering me is that the computer has just stand still for 3 weeks...

Thats a good idea. I am sorry to hear about your parks from EK though. That would tear me apart.
