Hello,

Recently I've been noticing my computer just isn't cutting it and now that my graphics card is dead I thought I would upgrade.

This is a list of parts from my current computer, it would be good to use some of these parts so I don't have to make a tonne of extra cash but yeah...

My current build:

NOTE: I'm just using a generic PSU that came with the case.

NOTE 2: I made a stupid decision and bought the Sapphire Nitro R9 390 8GB with Backplate so I'll be using that for the video card

I have a budget of like 300-400 Australian. And until I get a job that's all I have.

I can plan the build now and when I get the cash I can build it so not to worry.

If I reuse the CPU, CPU cooler, Motherboard, Memory, Storage and optical drive. All I need is a case, PSU and SSD.

My current case is ok and all but it won't fit my new graphics card and it's pretty beaten up so

You could probably get a 120 gig SSD (samsung, kingston, corsair) for between $80 - $120 (AUD).

A 700 W PSU will be ~$100 (such as the coolermaster thunder, decent PSU for the money (i'v had it))

and $100 for a case of your liking.

I was just thinking of getting the Samsung 850 EVO 120GB for 129 AUD

I have a 256 GB version in my PC and it works like a charm.

Do you know how much wattage the PSU needs?

My problem is the only well known PC store in my city, has not as much Stock. Don't get me wrong it's not horrific but it doesn't have everything (MSY)

I could buy from PC Case Gear... But it's going to cost me an extra 50 dollars for shipping and 10 dollars more on any product I want to buy. (has a lot of stuff though.

And according to PCCG if I were to get the Samsung 850 EVO my build would be roughly 472w.

I could go for a 650W PSU. I've heard okay reviews about the Antec Edge 650W?
