Upgrade OS

Ok so sorry is this has been asked many times already.

Basically im running Windows 7, going to upgrade to 10.

Do I get a full year from this exact date I upgrade or is the promotion over?

Also once my year is up what implications will it have if I dont buy a key? Can I downgrade without any hassle?

The key lasts forever. 

 

The 1 year is the time you can upgrade for free.

Yes, unless Microsoft changes with mid-way.

The upgrade is for lifetime, Microsoft means you have a year from the release of windows 10 to upgrade your OS to Win 10.

When you upgrade it is like you bought the key.

You can switch back to Windows 7 in the first 30 days form the upgrade.
