i tried to install a extra 4gigs {i have 8 gigs} of ram in to my computer i got it installed and i wanted to play counter strike when i got in to a game i saw that my computer was running a lot slower then before i put in the ram so i uninstalled the ram then i hoped back on csgo to see if it changed eney thing it was runing smoother but the frames where way town in to the 20-40 range when i usually get  250-300 [on high settings] so i consulted with a friend who used to work in IT he told me that it might be a problem with your graphics card [i have a gtx 960] so he told me to wipe all of the navida drivers and i did i redownloaded the drivers and i am still getting bad fps i have also tried taking my ram out and putting it back in and that has not worked so i don't know what to do a t this point

RAM has can very easily have issues when mixing and matching even different batches of production. Speed/voltage/manufactory mixing is even worse. It doesn't seem like it is working well with the new memory, so get rid of it and buy the same model memory. Or even get all new RAM.

i don't have the money for that i need a fix now with the ram i have

The solution then would to be take the new memory out and just deal with what you have.
