Keep the cat hair out help

whud99

So I'm building a computer I've got most of my parts already and I found an old flimsy case in a friends garage that fits my mother board. It looks like it was have ok air flow but my concern is having it around pets and hair getting in. I was looking at just buying some screens for it like this. any other tips ?

If possible, keep the computer away from pets altogether and off the floor.

I have it on the bottom right of a desk that is more or less like this. mine is more wire framed so it will breath well. Only problem is would not fit on the top shelf so I took that out and it's now on the bottom only about 4 inches from the ground. Also I don't even have all the parts installed yet but I already found my cat laying on top of it twice .-. its like she knows it's expensive.

My desk is only about 40 inches long and I have a mouse-pad that take up 17 inches of that and the keyboard and screen take up the rest.

The only thing i can think of then is to use fan filters or use a case without top vents
