Laptop Recommendations

I'm searching for a good gaming laptop with a minimum of a 970m for $1,000-$1,500. The laptop also needs a decent CPU. I will be using this laptop for schoolwork, gaming, browsing, and some video editing. The weight of the laptop must be below 6 pounds.

Not bad. The GE72 is 4th on the list. :) It's over 6 pounds, though (2.72 kg)

MSI laptop offers at the moment great perf/value. And compared to ROGs, they're much more thin and lightweight. Also they are a bit noisy....


On my side, I'm looking for a good pc/tablet ... so far the Lenovo Yoga looks good, but I don't quite find good  competitors... I was a sony vaio fan :'( :'( ... You people have suggestions ?  :)
