Hi Folks,

I recently switched cases and had my new parts for my water build turn up upon switching over the standard PSU cables to the cable mod ones now i cant get the computer to post no video coming out of my G1 980ti the cards not even lighting up no fans either. Motherboard error code is A2. I switched back to the old PSU cables which were working fine but still same error. I disconnected all the SATA cables since that codes suppose to be a HDD error and also the SATA power leeds and tried connecting one by one but still same error. Even went and bought a new SSD and re installed windows nothing. Just finished updating the BIOS now still same error. Occasionally get the 99 error but A2 most of the time. Could that error be caused by something else like a fried CPU, motherboard, or GPU? since the GPU wont display a video or the lights wont turn on im worried thats fried, but according to the motherboard the A2 is a HDD error so I dont want to go down the route of testing the GPU when it cant be that causing the issue. I disconnected everything bar the CPU power leeds and the 24 pin still got the A2 error. Disconnected the GPU left only one power SATA and data SATA to one SSD still A2 error. It's not a faulty HDD or cable I hooked them up to my laptop working fine.

Sigh, and here i was so excited my parts finally arrived thinking I would spend the weekend planning and installing that!
