Hello!

I am trying some time to assign on my keyboard (Corsair K95) or mouse (Razer naga 2014) a shortcut/macro for Microsoft Edge, unfortunately I could not find anything.

PS. I located the .exe file of Microsoft Edge, but when I double click it doesn't do anything.

Thanks!

Windows actually has an inbuilt feature to create shortcuts for programs.

If you have MS Edge on your start menu, right click it, then open file location.

It should be a shortcut file. Right click that, then select properties.

In the shortcut tab you should see an option for a shortcut key. Press something like Ctrl + Alt + E and apply the settings.

I use a couple for my frequently used programs like Chrome (Ctrl + Alt + C) and VLC (Ctrl + Alt + V)

EDIT: If you don't have a shortcut for MS Edge in your start menu, then open Edge, pin it to start, then open the file location and you'll have the shortcut. If the .exe you have isn't launching MS Edge, it may not be the right one, so doing it through the start menu is probably easier than digging around for the .exe.

Do you really have the option " open file location" when you right click on the Microsoft Edge icon on the start menu?

Are you on win 10?

Cause I am on Win 10 and I don't see this option......
