An I def do want notifications, so my best bet is the GPU mentioned ?

That's your best bet, I'd say, without bottlecapping the abilities of the GPU, never mind bottlenecks.

After that you need an overhaul.

Also, just at first glance it may be the best idea to either upgrade the motherboard and CPU or find an APU

OP will want an entire platform overhaul pretty soon if he decides to upgrade the graphics card now. The highest part you can get for that platform is an Athlon 5350.

 

An AMD Quad-core is bad enough, but at 2GHz... That's gonna really bog down. OP would probably have have a better time with a Q6600.

I plan to upgrade the whole system at the end of the year I've been told about to bottles necks and now I'm beating myself up, wanted to see if I can get a lil bit more power out of this build
