So I have just built my computer and I can't get it to turn on so I can install windows. My nzxt kraken x61 and maximus formula viii have the LEDS on but other than that nothing is turning on not even the graphics cards.

Is the 8pin power connector fully plugged in?

Are there any error LEDs that remain lit on your motherboard when you boot up?

So go back to the basics, make sure that the 24 pin cable is plugged in the mobo, the 8 pin CPU cable is plugged in, and if the GPU needs power check if thats plugged in too. Just double check that every single cable is plugged in, if the PSU is modular, make sure that the cables are plugged in the PSU as well.

(I once forgot to power my CPU, retard mode was engaged)

Have you tried booting from the motherboard start button? Is the battery fully in? Try clearing the Cmos
