Hi all,

Currently going through pcpartpicker to pick out bits for my next system. Obviously I want to future proof it and I would like to have a system that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye (because it's going to be put up on the desk and i'm going to admire while using it)

I was wondering if you'd all help me in picking parts that would work well / better with cool aesthetic looks. my current build goes as this.

Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0Ghz Quad-Core Processor

Corsair H110i GTX 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Asus MAXIMUS VIII FORMULA ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (the RGB lighting one)

Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 ( 4*8GB ) DDR4-2133 Memory

Samsung 850 EVO-Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB WINDFORCE 3x Video Card

NZXT H440 (Matte Black/Blue) ATX Mid Tower Case

Corsair RMx 860W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Custom Cables (BLUE)

RGB Lighting (Unsure).

Thanks,

Mynx

Or just get more SSD storage and leave the ram  ;)

What are you using 32GB of ram for? Even if you're setting up a ramdisk for Browser Cache 16GB is still good enough. Unless you're doing 4K editing with Adobe or Adobe After Effects 16GB is good enough. Just a big waste of money.

Ram doesn't equal performance. Don't know how you're going to use 32GB of ram.

I might be getting into 3D rendering and animation in University
