Adapter for console play?

So, I want to use my PC headset on my consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) and I bought a cheap version of the adapter i'm about to show. It didn't work or get any audio.

If I buy this

that's apparently specifically designed for Sennheiser headsets like mine (PC363D) do you think it'll work?

I have almost the same thing on my hyperx clouds that been using on ps4. But you also may have gotten a bad adapter.

If it says it can and your headphones are mentioned, shouldnt see why not, else that is false advertising

I assume I did since the adapter I bought before was around £2. Can you use the microphone as well with yours?
