Only thing I can think of is maybe through in a large HDD for some mass storage (1-4TB depending, they're dirt cheap!), and maybe instead of 8x4 RAM modules you could go 4x8 or 2x16. Just gtives you more options to upgrade in the future, as with 8x4 you'd be limiting yourself to 32GB without removing old modules. I use 24GB (3x8) and can sometimes get frightening close to that amount in ram usage!

EVGA SuperNOVA 750  instead for the psu

or

XFX P1-750B-BEFX

cheaper and great quality

other than that, everything you have is great. some of the parts are overkill, but that's okay i guess if you have the money

you could also get the following cooler:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/phanteks-cpu-cooler-phtc14pe

it would save you some money. it works well

have you thought about getting x2 980's instead of a single 980 ti? it's more powerful. my friend has x2 980's and they work so well for 1440p

you could get an 850 evo for the ssd and put the money into another gpu

edit:

you could get a cheaper storage setup and buy another gpu... you would need a bigger psu though.

i would recommend the classified acx 2.0+ from evga (gtx 980)

I was looking into getting a 2nd GPU and putting them in SLI but then there was the whole t hing about not all games will run with 2 GPUs and that sometimes you'll need to disable the sli to run a game and sometimes you'll only end up using 1 GPU. So was like i'll just throw one in now and later i can add another.

i guess that's a legit concern. most games can make use of sli though (i would think). anyways, a gtx 980 ti is a great choice.
