CPU COOLING

hi

i need some help guys im currently in need of advice i really like the noctua nh d14 air cooler but heard of ram issues i have the corsair dominator platnum ram

if i remove the heat spreader will it fit also i have a choice of the h80 but i afraid of watercooling and leaks help!

AIO units very rarely leak. Don't worry about it.

Pre built watercooling units are pretty much guaranteed to not leak and they look nicer than the d14 :D

I would go with the h80.

I'd go the H80i if you have already got Dominator Platinum however if you haven't got that RAM yet, go for low profile such as the Corsair Vengeance and get the D14 as it performs better by a few degrees.

as mentioned also, it's very rare to have a leaking AIO and the benefit is that if it does leak you've got a strong case against Corsair for their product damaging your system - something you wouldn't have if it was a custom loop.
