Budget Audiophile

SystemofaSyndrome

Hi, I wanted to know of any budget options for things such as Monitors, monitor stands, subwoofers, etc.

And what's better, surround with speakers or just in the front, also, are center speakers worth it?

Thanks for any help!

What's this for? Desktop nearfield or livingroom home theater?

You say "budget audiophile", so what's the budget?

Budget would be around 200 dollars for everything, and this would be for a desktop.

If I had enough I would spend a bunch on Rokit 5's and other shit but this is budget so yeah.

For that budget I would either

Buy used

Not go surround

and a center will not be needed

For that budget and nearfield, 2.0. No sub, no surround. Buying used will potentially net higher quality.

For new, plug-n-play, Definitive Technology Incline.
