hi so i just built a computer for my friend the other day and it seems that it has some problems. when it boots up i hear that initial beep which means that it passes POST. Then it would get stuck at  initializing USB controllers but when i unplug the USB mouse and keyboard the computer would boot up fine. but the boot order and boot devices are still messed up. also when i do make a change in BIOS then when i hit save and restart it would beep 1 time (meaning it passes POST) but then the screen is still black. any solutions to this problem?

If you have your KB/MS plugged into USB 3.0 ports, try plugging them into 2.0 ports.

Try clearing your CMOS.

i did clear it and it would still be stuck at that. i mean i can try it with a PS2 keyboard to be able to get into BIOS or should i hit load optimized defaults
