NAS or HDD in pc

i am wonedring to get a 2 2TB HDD's in RAID 1 or to get a NAS

im really not sure what to do

A NAS is nice to have, but it's not really a replacement for internal storage unless you're using 10GbE networking equipment.

Even if you get a NAS, make sure its in a RAID 1 config.
