Garry's mod is £7 and extremely fun especially on multilayer. Also doesn't need a very powerful PC to run at a decent speed.

Just cause 2 got really boring really fast for me. The over the top crazy humour baked into the gameplay started out entertaining, but after the first hour of play I found the world just felt really empty and repetitive. For me anyway.

If you haven't played them yet, the Hλlf-Life series.  Pretty good and they are quite cheap.  That or you could get the Valve complete pack and get quite a lot of games.  

 

The best one I can recommend is Portal Stories: Mel
