I recently bought a Samsung 850 EVO M.2 ssd  250GB to install my OS on, but after running the numbers I am less than impressed. I checked other benchmarks online and some looked to be almost double the speed I am getting. Is there anything I can do to speed up my drive?

Other info on the rig is

ASRock Fatality 990FX Killer

FX 9370

16 GB Crucial Ballistix DDR3

MSI GTX970

Corsair RM750

Any help is appreciated.

Maybe a bios update? Or install whatever Samsung utility they have.
