Entry level tech jobs

Go to solution Solved by Renegade7369,

I am currently employed as a helpdesk technician for the State of Alaska.

The story goes:

-Started college for Bachelor's in Network Engineering

-State had an internship where all you need is to be enrolled in college in a related field

-2 months into internship, full time position in the same exact office opens up

-Supervisor told me to apply, did, got job, state had to rehire intern

Moral of the story, look for internships if you can.

Hello everyone. I am looking to start my career as a tech (or anything computer related really) BUT.... a lot of companies requirements is to have experience and/or a degree. So my question is, do you know of any companies that hires people without experience?

Not a lot of big tech companies hire, but a lot of local shops do if you can prove you know your stuff with examples of work you have done and can answer their questions in a fair amount of detail.

Does not having a second parenthesis around something bother anyone else as much as it does me? (Like if this statement was missing a second side)

I used to live in LV and they had little bit sell and trade computer shops. By Chinatown there's a cell phone repir shop too. And there's some in the summer in area but there all small shops.
