Hi all,

Maybe someone can help me.

Does someone know a keyboard modder (preferably located in Europe)?

Preferably with a link to some projects of his(her) or a website?

Looking for someone who can do some sweet stuff to a CM Stom MECH keyboard (http://www.cmstorm.com/en/products/keyboards/MECH/)

Would be great!

Thnx

- Bram

I think you best define what you'd meant when you'd said, " someone who can do some sweet stuff to a CM Stom MECH keyboard". By "sweet stuff", what do you mean? Someone who can paint the KB to a color of your liking, in other words, change the physical appearance of the keyboard? Someone who can lube the switches for a more refined feel?  There was a guy who had modded his BWU to white, changed the LED color from green to blue and his mod had garnered some love and admiration over at GH.....but he isn't a professional (by this, I mean his was a personal pet project, not that his work on the BWU was good, it was excellent)

I saw this also in GH. He called it, the "Whitewidow Ultimate". I'm going to get myself another set of thick PBT. :P

That whitewidow is nothing compared to what people do on gh and dt nowadays.

There are tons of people on deskthority.net that coul help you. Id not suggest you to get on geekhack.org because you live in europe. Also, modding can be pretty risky, if you mod switches or something else on the pcb.

Those are too hardcore for an obvious newbie to the world of mechanical keyboard, that's why I'd not even thought of suggesting those. Heck, I'm not exactly new myself and yet I shudder at the thought of such hardcore mods.

I personally think you could invest that time into something else. Even if you just like keyboards, why would you make something with multiple switchtypes for example? Would you really make that because you like to have multiple switchtypes on 1 board?

What I mean is like a custom paint job, or a custom 3D print in a cool design....
