My biggest question is, would I see a big difference with booting, apps and games? I assume probably not but, I'm looking for other opinions.

Thanks in advance.

The different is minimal. The 950 Pro is more or less there for bragging rights lel.

Not worth the price jump I doubt you'd notice a difference, so go 850 evo based on these choices

https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/ Tier Breakdown (My understanding)--1 Godly, 2 Great, 3 Good, 4 Average, 5 Meh, 6 Bad, 7 Awful

This is pretty much spot on.

Based on what I've seen others report using other SSDs, you might get boot times 1-2 seconds faster.

Everyday loading times won't really see much of a difference either between a SATA SSD and a NVMe SSD since unless you're working with relatively small file sizes.

Okay thanks, that's what I expected but, the reads and writes are impressive. Any other ssd's worth while over Samsung?

There are plenty of good SSD makers on the market. Samsung just happens to be one of the best.

You can look to the Intel 730 if you want something in the same ballpark of reliability and quality. Whether which one is "better" is probably up for debate.

But really, you'll be fine with an 850 EVO. Good price. Good performance for today's drive needs. Everything you'd need and nothing you don't.
