new build? rig issues

Yesterday I upgraded from a 660Ti to 970, CX750 to beQuiet 750 Powerzone.

Yesterday my rig was working fine.

Came home from work today, and it looks like my board it dying, the LAN port shows up as disconnected, and my sound card no longer works.

Question, The AsRock motherboard seems hard to find in UK, what would you guys recommend in terms of CPU and MB combo, to go along with my current setup?

i5-4460 + Any B85/H81/H97 board

or

i5-6400/6500 + Any H170/Z170 board (and BCLK the hell out of it)

okay so I came home from work, and thought I'd mess around and got my ethernet port working by removing my sound card, as device manager was showing a resource issue.

Any help?
