Will this build work?

IridiumAxle

First off, sorry if this is the wrong place but I couldn't decide which one it went in so here it is in general discussion.

For this I particularly need help from those that know a bit about server/workstation mobos.

Basically I plan on maybe building a computer like the LTT $150 gaming pc and on first glance I plan on using these parts (note: these are not set in stone)

This is meant as a project but may end up being someones daily driver so if there are outright incompatibilities, tell me.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

PSU will blow up on you.

could you give a bit more of an explanation as to why the psu would blow up?

since that is a server motherboard it might not fit in a standard case.

3 tips to have a good time on the LTT forums | 1. When you reply to someone please quote them | 2. Please follow your threads | 3. Follow the C.o.C

If you follow these 3 tips you should have a blast.

i'm rather proud of this for some reason. http://imgur.com/6ttS5XZ

because it is a very cheap unit. that uses low quality component.

Most reviews on Kentek power supplies are negative, usually because they have died (some of the time via literal explosion of black smoke) early or been DoA.

It is an ATX mobo, and all the mount points look to be in standard location.
