I wouldn't suggest having 2 8gb sticks and then 2 4 gb sticks.  RAM works the best when all of the components are exactly the same.  I would just buy 16gb of the HyperX Ram (Thats good quality stuff)  There is no way you will need 24gb of RAM anytime soon, anyways.

Why would you use different kits? Just buy a higher capacity kit

Because I dont need 32GB, not even 24GB, I just want to buy for future proofing, DDR3 probably will get more expensive now with DDR4 becoming the norm.

16 is pretty much the best bet. Get it in two sticks of 8, then get 32 when you want to, or a single stick of 8 of the same kind and make 24

3x8GB isn't as good as 2x8GB + 2x4GB though, since the latter will run in dual channel across the whole capacity; 3x8GB will usually run in flex mode.
