Can't boot/no display

Go to solution Solved by maidenshredds,

Never mind guys. I got things fixed.

Hey guys, I need some help!

So earlier today I picked up 2 Sapphire R7 265's and I was going to put them in my old machine I had retired. I couldn't get it to boot since it didn't wanna play nice with the harddrive.

Now, my real problem is that I swapped those two R7's into my good machine so see how they compared, and it wouldn't display. So I stuck my R9 270x back in it along with my old hard drive. Now it won't display, and I can't even get my USB keyboard or mouse to come on. The monitors are on but don't display anything, and the fans on my R9 spin up, then slow down and then spool up again. All the fans are turning on in the case however. I've checked, and as far as I can tell, everything is still hooked up properly.

I don't know what to do.

My system is an MSI 970 gaming motherboard, an AMD 8320 FX 8-core, 16 GB Corsair Vengence, ASUS R9 270x, if any of that helps.

Any help would be really appreciated!
